Oranges (aka: Blood oranges Navel oranges, Seville Oranges,Valencia Oranges) .They are the best-known citrus fruits, and have been prized for more than 4,000 years. The first oranges arrived in Persia, Egypt, Spain, and Africa from Asia by way of ancient Arab trade routes. The fruit came from China, but because it perishes very fast, became a household name in the United States during the last century.

Oranges have a lot of vitamins, and the most vitamin in orange is Vitamin C. This vitamin that protects our body against harmful elements.

 

Orange Contains:

Calcium that helps to protect and maintain the health of our bone and teeth.

Folic Acid for proper brain development and beta carotene a powerful antioxidant.

Magnesium that helps to maintain blood pressure.

Potassium helps to balance the electrolyte in the cells, and is important in keeping a healthy cardiovascular system.

Vitamin B6 helps support the production of hemoglobin that carries oxygen to all parts of the body.It is also a calming vitamin.

Orange is Beneficial in the following cases:

Asthma ,Bronchitis,and Pneumonia.

Tuberculosis

Rheumatism

Prevents kidney stone and helps to lower cholesterol.

Helps prevent diabetes

Arthritis and high blood pressure.

Home made Orange and Honey Facial Masks for Normal Skin

Orange brightens and exfoliates the skin and purifies the pores. Honey: is extremely moisturizing; refines pores; tightens skin; removes wrinkles.

  • Half a cup of Orange pulp
  • 1 tbsp. Honey

Simply mix Orange pulp into a bowl with Honey. Apply to clean face and neck skin and leave the mask on for about 10 minutes. Rinse well with luke-warm water.
